Hero Images

Why do we all love to have heroes in our lives? I have always had heroes. When I was a kid my heroes were my Dad and my Mom. As I got older my TV hero was Lew King, a local kid’s show personality. As I grew older I wanted to be like John Lennon. When I went into Advertising, I wanted to be David Ogilvy. And the list of my personal heroes goes on and on. With each evolution of my life my heroes changed. But now, I have no more heroes. Like Joseph Campbell said…WE are the hero, the hero who has had a "thousand faces.” I am the hero who has had a thousand faces. I love the fact that I have had so many heroes. They helped me see the potential of my dreams in them and through them. I loved and admired each one because the real me was disguised in their names….the same hero with another name. By the way....my Dad and Mom are still my heroes. Some things never change. Think about it.
