Playing Not to Lose by Larry John
I am always fascinated by the way people look at life. I find it interesting that there are so many of us who are only happy… if we are miserable. We love to complain. About everything. We have the choice to live a “cup half full” life or a “cup half empty” life. Some of us think in terms of “abundance” and some of us think in terms of “lack.” It’s like watching a basketball team that “plays to win” or watching a basketball team that is “playing not to lose.” The team that “plays to win” is a lot more fun to watch. And perhaps it’s the same as we live our lives. Living in a world of “abundance” as opposed to a world of “lack” allows us to enjoy this thing we call Life… a lot more. It’s more fun to say… “I Won” instead of “I didn’t Lose.” Think about it.
