Right or Left?

by Larry John

Does there come a point in political thinking at which you are so Conservative that you have become Liberal? Is there a point on the political “line” that leaves you so far “right” that you fall off the “line” … and climb back up on the “left”? For example, is Arizona in the west or in the east? Frankly, it’s both east and west depending on where YOU are standing.  The same type of theory can be applied to the question of what type of government you want.

We only disagree on government’s direct involvement in economy or personal freedoms.  And this is where it gets interesting. We must be careful that the government we want to help us with the economy and our personal liberties is run by us and doesn’t end up “running” us. After all, government is by the people (we created it) and for the people (we wanted it). Because if you want to get to Arizona…you can go right or you can go left…and still get to Arizona.  You just have to decide on “the view” you want during your journey. Think about it.
