The Center of the Universe

by Larry John

I just got back from a vacation in London. It's amazing how the U. S. looks when you are in London. Even the “News” is different over there. You wouldn’t even recognize CNN or the BBC. Our country is not as “wonderful, respected, or important” to most of the world as we would like to think.   I have always said that every person thinks that they are the “center of the universe” and that the “whole world revolves around them.” So it is with countries. We think that the whole world thinks the United States is the “center of the universe” but we are so wrong. When you watch the NEWS in Europe, they don’t think “we” are all that important. And unless money is involved, maybe we aren’t. Think about it.
