War Talks by Larry John
What if we had a Law and Policy for the United States that War was not an option? That we couldn’t go to war except to protect ourselves from immediate invasion of our land. What if we had the policy that our President had to talk with leaders of other countries BEFORE there was an option to go to war? If a country said they hated us, our President would set up a time to go have coffee or tea with the President of the other country to sit down and discuss how we might work out our differences. It would be our President’s job to be a peace maker through talking, negotiating, and solving conflicts one on one, face to face in conversations with other nations before things got out of hand. I know this sounds silly and it would be hard, but so is war. Think about it.
